Ciputat, January 10, 2025 - Faculty of Psychology, State Islamic University (UIN) Jakarta held a celebration and inauguration of the use of a new elevator that has issued a safety certificate. This inauguration event is coupled with a celebration of the achievement of Excellent Accreditation and Unconditional ACQUIN International Accreditation for the Psychology Undergraduate Program, three new doctors, and employee welcome in one meaningful moment.

The use of the Faculty of Psychology Lift was inaugurated directly by the Rector of UIN Jakarta, Prof. Asep Saepudin Jahar, M.A., Ph.D. accompanied by the Dean of the Faculty of Psychology, Dr. Yunita Faela Nisa, M.Psi., Psychologist. along with faculty leaders.

In his speech, Prof. Asep Saepudin Jahar expressed his appreciation for the initiative of the Faculty of Psychology in improving facilities to support the comfort of the academic community. “The presence of this elevator facility is a form of commitment of UIN Syarif HIdayatullah Jakarta in providing the best service, hopefully this will be the first step towards improving the quality of other facilities and infrastructure in UIN Jakarta,” he said.

Meanwhile, Dr. Yunita Faela Nisa, M.Psi., Psychologist. stated that the inauguration of this panoramic elevator is part of the faculty's efforts to create an inclusive and friendly environment for all parties. “This facility will facilitate access for students, lecturers, staff, and faculty guests, especially for those with special needs. We hope this facility symbolizes Psychology for a better life.

Furthermore, Yunita said, “To support a green campus, elevator access is generally opened to the third and fourth floors, but access to the second floor is limited. This is to 'nudge' all academicians to be healthier by taking the stairs to the second floor, as well as efficient use of electricity. Hopefully this elevator will be a blessing and benefit the progress of the Faculty of Psychology and UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta,” he said.

The event continued with an employee welcome, where the Faculty of Psychology honored employees who have served and welcomed new employees who will strengthen the faculty team. In a warm atmosphere in the Main Conference Room (RSU) of the Faculty of Psychology, all staff enjoyed a moment of togetherness that ended with a tasyakuran. The event ended with Khotmil Qur'an as a form of gratitude for this achievement.
