"PBAK Master's Program: The Faculty of Psychology UIN Jakarta Prepares Master's Students for Global Research Challenges"
Ciputat, September 4, 2024 – The Faculty of Psychology at Syarif Hidayatullah State Islamic University Jakarta successfully held the Academic and Student Orientation (PBAK) for new Master's (S2) students today. The event was led by the Dean of the Faculty of Psychology, Dr. Yunita Faela Nisa, M.Psi., Psychologist, who, in her speech, emphasized the importance of innovation, integrity, and dedication in pursuing a globally competitive academic life, as well as developing the best knowledge and skills in psychology based on research.
The PBAK event was also attended by several faculty leaders, including Vice Dean I for Academic Affairs, Vice Dean II for General Administration, Vice Dean III for Student Affairs, Alumni, and Cooperation, and the Head of Administrative Affairs. Their presence provided encouragement and motivation for the new students to gain a deeper understanding of academic and student life within the Faculty of Psychology at UIN Jakarta.
The PBAK aims to introduce new students to the academic culture on campus, the lecture system, and the various programs and facilities the faculty provides. In a friendly atmosphere, students were also given an orientation on the core values of psychology, which are expected to serve as guidelines throughout their Master's studies at UIN Jakarta.
With high spirit and enthusiasm, this event is expected to motivate new students to actively participate in academic and non-academic activities and contribute positively to the campus organization and the wider community. The Faculty of Psychology at UIN Jakarta is committed to continuously supporting students' personal development and competencies in achieving their best performance, producing graduates with an advanced and in-depth understanding of psychological theory and practice integrated with Islamic values. The curriculum of the Master's Science Program is specifically designed to develop students' analytical and research skills, focusing on psychological issues relevant to social, cultural, and religious contexts.
