The psychology laboratory aims to provide services to the academic community of the Faculty of Psychology, UIN Jakarta, which consists of lecturers and students in teaching, research and community service activities. The psychology laboratory is headed by the Head of the Laboratory and assisted by Academic Mentors. Academic Mentor is a program for students managed by the laboratory. This program is attended by selected students who are assigned to help manage the laboratory and provide mentoring to other students regarding mastery of lecture material. So far, laboratory infrastructure has been able to support the activities of the academic community. The psychology laboratory is on the 4th floor of the Faculty of Psychology, UIN Jakarta.

The laboratory facilities are as follows:

  1. Psychological test tools consisting of intelligence test tools, interest aptitude test tools, projective personality test tools, and non-projective personality test tools.
  2. One laboratory headroom
  3. Ten individual counseling rooms
  4. One group counseling room

Psychological test tools can be used with the following procedures:

  1. Fill out the application form for borrowing psychological test equipment addressed to the Head of the Psychology Laboratory
  2. The Head of the Psychology Laboratory, assisted by the Academic Mentor, prepares and provides psychological test equipment to the applicant
  3. Return of borrowed psychological test equipment/equipment must be on time according to the return date stated on the loan application form and the borrower is fully responsible if there is damage/loss.
  4. Psychological test equipment that can be borrowed is listed in the attached table of Laboratory Psychological Test Equipment for the Faculty of Psychology, UIN Jakarta.
  5. Borrowers are fully responsible, obliged and must maintain the confidentiality and condition of the borrowed items in good condition and as before.

The counseling room can be used with the following procedures:

  1. Prospective laboratory users submit applications to the Head of the Laboratory by writing an application letter. For students, the application letter requires the knowledge of the course lecturer or research supervisor.
  2. The Head of the Laboratory shall provide an answer no later than three days after the date of receipt of the application letter.
  3. If approved, the prospective user reports to the Head of the Laboratory to obtain confirmation of the time to use the counseling room.
  4. When using the counseling room, both lecturers and students are required to maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of the counseling room.
  5. If damage occurs to laboratory facilities such as equipment, room facilities and other equipment during use, repairs are borne by the laboratory user.
  6. After the practicum is finished, the lecturer/laboratory user needs to hand back the facilities used to the Head of the Laboratory for checking.
