The speaker for the talk show was Mrs. HJ. Erlina Fauziah, S.H., M.Psi., who is the Owner of Muslim wear production house Clothing brand Haidee Orlin and Mrs. Iany Luzvinda, M.Si who is a Lecturer in Personality Psychology at the Faculty of Psychology, UIN Jakarta. The talk show lasted for 50 minutes, which was then followed by a QnA session for 30 minutes.

The important point conveyed by Mrs. Hj. Erlina Fauziah, S.H., M.Psi., namely that basically, style trends can change over time. However, in reality every individual has unique preferences, styles and needs in fashion. There are several general principles that need to be considered when choosing fashion, including the quality of clothing, suitability, color and combination, functionality, means of self-expression, as well as the choice of accessories and details.

In this general principle there is "fit", so he also provides tips and suggestions about choosing clothing styles for individuals with various body shapes and how to mix and match fashion styles that reflect their personality so that they can feel comfortable and more confident. . Firstly, if someone has a thin or slender body size, it is best for them to wear clothes that are not too loose or too tight, but wear clothes that are slimmer and suit their body shape. For example, you can wear clothes that have folds or layering using a blazer, cardigan or jacket. Second, for someone with a medium body, it is better to wear clothes that are balanced, so they are not too loose or too tight, so they can help maintain body proportions. The clothing cuts that suit a medium body shape are cuts that emphasize the parts of the body that you want to highlight, such as the waist or shoulders. Third, for someone with a fat body, it is best to choose clothes with flowing cuts and not too tight, and also avoid clothes that are too excessive or oversized because they can make the body look bigger. Meanwhile, clothing pieces that are suitable for fat body shapes are clothing with a tunic-like cut, which is long to mid-calf or mid-thigh.

Then, the important point conveyed by Mrs. Liany Luzvinda, M.Si., namely that fashion choices can also reflect a person's need to express themselves and achieve self-actualization. So, the clothes they choose can reflect certain interests, values, or identities that they want to show to the world. So, the question of whether fashion represents a person's "real self" or just a persona, depends on each individual. Some individuals may choose fashion that truly reflects their true personality and preferences (real-self). However, for some other people, fashion can be part of the "persona" or image they want to present to the world. Then, he also said that choosing clothes that suit individual comfort can also influence their psychological well-being. When someone feels comfortable in the clothes they wear, it can increase their self-confidence and atmosphere. Then, choosing fashion can also be a means of self-development to be more creative in the process of mixing and matching appropriate and more creative clothing, but still adhering to applicable norms.

After the talk show session is finished, the moderator then guides the audience's QnA session with the resource person. In this session, the audience seemed very enthusiastic about asking questions. However, due to time constraints, only 3 questions could be accommodated during this QnA session. Apart from that, in the middle of the QnA session, Mrs. Hj. Erlina Fauziah, S.H., M.Psi. informed that he had prepared 5 prizes in the form of clothing from his brand, namely Haidee Orlin, for participants who dared to go on stage and successfully answered the questions he had prepared correctly.

After the talk show and QnA sessions were finished, the series of events continued with the presentation of certificates and souvenirs for the speakers, which were given directly by the Dean of the Faculty of Psychology at UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, namely Mrs. Yunita Faela Nisa, M.Psi., Psychologist., which was then continued with a documentation session.

Before entering the closing series, the series continues by praying together, with the hope of blessing for all the knowledge that has been gained. After praying together, the event continued with closing by the MC at 16.00 WIB. Thus, the 2023 Fashion Discussion Community talk show, Faculty of Psychology, UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, ran solemnly and smoothly. Hopefully, holding this activity can be the first step to foster understanding and awareness of the importance of fashion in expressing oneself and building one's identity comfortably, so that individuals become more confident and creative, while still respecting applicable norms.
